On June 15th, the Alliance Française de Delhi on Lodhi Road was abuzz with excitement as Desizn Circle International Wing hosted a remarkable meetup for students preparing to study abroad. This event was a celebration of the achievements of the 2023/24 batch, with students having secured admissions to prestigious institutions such as the London College of Fashion, FIT in New York, The New School Parsons, PRATT, SVA, and Marangoni.
The meetup saw enthusiastic participation from students and their proud parents, creating an atmosphere of celebration and anticipation. The felicitation ceremony was the highlight of the event, honoring students who had achieved significant milestones in their academic journeys. These students, alongside their parents, shared their experiences and offered invaluable advice to peers who are currently preparing their portfolios and planning to study abroad next year.
Adding depth to the event were students from second and third-year programs at renowned institutions like NIFT, IIAD, NID, and Pearl Academy. Following this, a talk show featuring Pal Upadhyay, Khushi Wadhawan, and Pragya Wadhawan captivated the audience. These accomplished alumni shared their experiences of studying abroad, discussing essential topics such as pre-departure preparations, cultural adjustments, and academic expectations. Despite the sweltering heat of Delhi, the event saw an impressive turnout of over 200 parents and students.
